Turtle River State Park Multipurpose Building Overview: The Scope of Work shall consist of construction tasks necessary to meet the plans and specifications for a new multipurpose building at Turtle River State Park in North Dakota. The project consists of a new construction 5,700 square feet building with two story residence apartments, office space, and a shop space. The building will serve the State Park s maintenance crew and seasonal staff. The location of the building will be approximately fifty feet to the north of the existing maintenance shop building. BID SCHEDULE 1 General Construction for TRSP Multipurpose Building: Includes construction of new multipurpose building s site prep, earthwork, paving, foundations, framing, siding, roofing, interior and exterior finishes, fine grading and seeding. Coordination with other bid schedule contractor teams required. BID SCHEDULE 2 Electrical Construction for TRSP Multipurpose Building: Includes new electrical service and distribution equipment, lighting systems, fire alarm, all associated feeders for the new multipurpose building. Coordination with other bid schedule contractor teams required. BID SCHEDULE 3 Mechanical Construction for TRSP Multipurpose Building: Includes new HVAC systems, domestic waste and vent system, waste grinder pump system, domestic water system, propane gas system, and fire protection system for the new multipurpose building. Coordination with other bid schedule contractor teams required. The Bidder shall provide prices for one, multiple, or all the Bid Schedules. The Owner reserves the right to award any and all schedule(s) under which the bids are to be compared and the contract awarded, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all irregularity in any bid. The Contract will be awarded, if awarded, to the best and lowest bidder, which is most advantageous to the OWNER. The Bid Schedules may be awarded individually, or all Schedules may be awarded to one prime Contractor. The Owner will make the sole determination of combination of bids that is in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner. The Project has an expected substantial completion date of July 1, 2026, and a final completion date of August 12, 2026. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
