Site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Hampton, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 36,000-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for the addition of a 4,018-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of December 20, 2024, project was awarded to W. M. Jordan Company, but awarded amount is not available. Renovation of an existing 1-story, approx. 36,000 SF building and construction of a 1-story 4,018 SF addition to provide a training facility with a 25-meter firing range, a 75-yard firing range and associated support spaces. The training facility will be used by the City of Hampton Police Department and Langley Air Force Base personnel. The existing building was constructed in 1983 and served as an Army Exchange Facility. Major structural modifications are required in order to provide an open, column free area for the firing ranges. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned and Veteran Businesses are encouraged to participate. QUESTION PERIOD.
