This project consists of the replacement of the gravity sanitary sewer system in the Spring Lake Subdivision. The project will include but not be limited to 5,365 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 1,902 LF of 10-inch sanitary sewer, 720 LF of 12-inch sanitary sewer, 1,941 LF of 15-inch sanitary sewer, 37 sanitary manholes, 10-foot diameter wet well and pumps, 8-foot diameter valve box and valves and 1,719 LF of 8-inch forcemain. Abandoning of the existing system, removal of manholes, grading & seeding, maintenance of traffic and asphalt pavement repair, as required, are also included. The existing system must remain in service until the new pump station and forcemain are installed and operational or an alternative plan is approved. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. The City reserves the right reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The project is located within the City of Findlay corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection.
