Any bidder may withdraw their bid at any time prior to bid opening time, but no bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of 30 days after the date set for the opening thereof. Project Description: The LaMoure Pool House Redesign is a single-story, wood-construction building of approximately 1,400 s.f. Scope of Work as follows: . Provide general, mechanical and electrical construction as indicated by the Contract Documents . Adjacent pool, pool deck, and equipment building are excluded and not included in the scope. Work is to be bid as a Single Prime General Construction contract with all Mechanical and Electrical work supporting major project elements to be subcontracted out through the general contractor. Each bid shall be accompanied by a corporate security Bid Bond in the amount of at least five (5%) percent of the bid amount, payable to the City of LaMoure Park District, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Failure to enter into a contract within ten (10) days after notice of award will result in forfeiture of bid security. No bid will be read or considered that does not fully comply with the previous provisions regarding bid security, and any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds at One Hundred (100%) Percent of the Contract Amount and a Certificate of Insurance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Bidders may obtain Hardcopy Drawings and Specifications upon a deposit of $100.00, which is refunded if a bona fide Bid is submitted or plans are returned in good condition, complete, undamaged, unmarked and reusable, within 10 days of Bid submission. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
