Demolition, site work and addition to a library in Winnetka, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; and for site work for a library.
The Village is seeking a qualified architectural firm to explore options for an design the selected option for an expansion of the existing public library space at 1785 Orchard Lane in Northfield. Additionally, a facade improvement of the existing building may be considered as part of the project to incorporate the old with the new segments of the building. Anticipated Contract Award 01/21/25 Deadline, submission of questions 12/16/24 @ 5:00pm Village Response to Questions 12/17/24 by 5:00pm Proposal Due Date 12/20/24 @ 4:00pm Statements submitted are the Respondent's statement of qualifications only and the decision to accept or reject the Respondent's qualifications for the Work is at the sole discretion of the Village. Owner reserves the right to only invite those Respondent(s) that are determined to be qualified to submit a proposal for the Work. The decision will be, in the Owner's judgment, the best and most favorable to the interests of Owner and to the public; to reject those deemed unqualified; to accept any item of any Statement; to reject any and all Statements; and to waive irregularities and informalities in any Statement submitted or in the request for Statement process; provided, however, the waiver of any prior defect or informality shall not be considered a waiver of any future or similar defect or informality. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
