Runway 17R-35L & Taxiway F Grading Study The Airport Authority is soliciting bids from qualified companies to enter into an Agreement for the right and privilege to provide grading services for the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport and Bowman Field Airport in the manner and frequency as specified in the Bid Documents. The project consists of the relocation of existing electrical and communication duct banks and manhole between Taxiways A and B crossing Runway 17R/35L south of Taxiway F to allow the infield area bordered by Runway 17R-35L and Taxiways A & F to be regraded to meet FAA design standards. The project includes the removal and replacement of 1,520 SY of PCC aircraft pavement and 395 SY of asphalt shoulder pavement within Taxiway A, the installation of new duct bank and manholes, installation of casing pipe, both direct buried and jacked underneath the runway, along with associated demolition, earthwork, erosion control, airfield lighting and signage.
