Site work for a water / sewer project in Detroit, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work involves designing and constructing approximately 3,100 feet of new 96-inch water transmission main (WTM), two (2) new isolation valve vaults, two (2) 84-inch isolation valves, constructing and operating a temporary booster pumping station and other Project facilities, designing and constructing line stop(s) to isolate the existing 96-inch WTM, and abandoning approximately 2.2 miles of existing 96-inch WTM. The new 96-inch WTM will connect to the existing 96-inch WTM near the intersection of 24 Mile Road and the Macomb Orchard Trail to the north and near the intersection of Dequindre Road and Hamlin Road to the south. As of November 7, 2025, a design build firm has been selected. A construction start date has not been announced.
