Renovation of a municipal facility in Berwick, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of December 27, 2024, project was awarded to Roscoe Construction , awarded amount is $104,949.21. The Town of Berwick strives to ensure residents and customers feel welcome and can access Town Hall services with ease. The Berwick Accessibility Advisory Committee has identified barriers to the existing customer service area that the Town would like to remediate. A preliminary graphic layout has been created, and the Town is inviting proposals to finalize the design and carry out the necessary building renovations in conformance with the current Nova Scotia Building Code. The Town of Berwick is seeking tenders from qualified providers for the re-design and build of the front reception area of the Town Hall (236 Commercial Street, Berwick), with emphasis on: improved accessibility for Customers; improved site security for Town Hall Staff; the ability to serve multiple members of the public concurrently; Reduction in the amount of files and office supplies visible to the public (e.g. visual clutter). Estimated Duration of Contract (months) 3 All requests for clarification must be received in writing at least four (4) working days prior to the closing date for all written clarification to be issued to all respondents.
