Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
General Work Description: The work under this contract is located at the Fairfield Vacaville Hannigan Train Station. The Project improvements include the installation of a new asphalt parking lot, electrical improvements for future installation of electric vehicle chargers, landscaping & irrigation improvements, and all other work as shown in the contract documents. Construction is anticipated to begin in early spring of 2025. Bidders may mail in their bids to the address below: Th Bid Proposal Public Works, 3rd Floor 1000 Webster Street Fairfield, CA 94533 The sealed bid envelope should be enclosed inside the mailed-in envelope. Bid Guaranty and Bonding Requirements are as follows: (a) a bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid price must be submitted with bid proposal, (b) the successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of total bid price. Proof of compliance with insurance requirements (including certificates of insurance and additional insured endorsements) shall be provided by the successful contractor. Coverage shall be for the following amounts: (a) Commercial General Liability $3,000,000 each occurrence, $6,000,000 each aggregate, (b) Automobile Liability $1,000,000 each occurrence, and (c) Worker's Compensation/Employer's Liability - $1,000,000 each occurrence.
