Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Concord ("City") will accept sealed bids for its Median Landscape - Various Locations Project The Contractor shall provide landscape, hardscape, and irrigation installation and upgrade services for City-owned landscaped areas. The Project is located at 14 (fourteen) separate locations as detailed in the scope of services. The Contractor shall provide scheduled landscape, hardscape, and irrigation installation and upgrade services for City-owned landscaped areas. The scheduled services shall include: Installation and upgrade of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation infrastructure including installing new plant material, trees, soil, soil amendment, sub surface material, base material, base rock, landscape rock, landscape boulders, landscape artwork, concrete, asphalt, pour in place, engineered fiber, rubberized surfacing, treated lumber, planter boxes, poles, signs, shade structures, gas lines, drainage lines, landscape electrical panels, controllers, wiring, conduit, water lines, valves, nodes, terminating heads, and any other installation materials and devices as directed by the City. The work shall be performed in accordance with accepted professional work standards at the discretion of the Park Division Manager. he Bid Proposal must be accompanied by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check made payable to City, or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California on the Bid Bond form included with the Contract Documents. Performance and Payment Bonds. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, as further specified in the Contract Documents. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): C-27 - Landscaping Contractor. Question Deadline 10/25/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Deadline for Requests for Information Submit all questions to electronically. The Project must be fully completed within 320 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work will begin on or about January 20, 2025, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding. City reserves the unfettered right, acting in its sole discretion, to waive or to decline to waive any immaterial bid irregularities; to accept or reject any or all bids; to cancel or reschedule the bid; to postpone or abandon the Project entirely; or to perform all or part of the Work with its own forces. Estimated Cost. The estimated construction cost is to be under $500,000.
