Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Cedar Recreation Roof Replacements Bathhouse and pavilion roofs at 60 Cedar Street, Sturbridge MA 01566. Estimated Cost $24,000 Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 10/23/2024 very request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed Facilities, Sturbridge Town Hall, 308 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA 01566, and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Emails to Robyn Chrabascz, Facilities Manager, are acceptable for submitting requests to rchrabascz@sturbridge.gov General Scope shall include: o Administrative work required for a building permit (note the fee will be waived) o Submittals of materials to be used o Removal of all waste and cleanup of site o Removal of all shingles, underlayment, and drip edges or other accessories to be replaced o Installation of Certainteed Landmark Shingles, color to be Georgetown Gray or equal and provide warranty registration For the Cedar Recreation Bathhouse: o Inspect roof sheathing - no replacement is expected. Notify project manager if rotten areas are found. o Install 6-feet of ice and water shield across eaves and install underlayment for the remaining sheathing with new drip edge at entire perimeter of roof o Provide new boot and counterflashing at plumbing and electrical penetrations o Install ridge vent with matching ridge cap shingles. For Pavilion: o Inspect roof sheathing and replace rotten and damaged linear sheathing with new to match existing, 75 LF estimated; prime coat and finish to match all new material o Install 6-feet of ice and water shield across eaves and install underlayment for the remaining sheathing with new drip edge at entire perimeter of roof o Install peak cap with matching shingles o For sidewalls: Install new 1x8 composite trim board along outside of perimeter of sheathing at grade, replacing any rotted blocking/framing with new pressure treated blocking/framing. Re-fasten loose sheathing to existing framing with screws.
