Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Kingston, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,091-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a 5,158-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project site is located on 10153 State Route 159, Kingston, OH 45644. The bid is to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, machinery, warranties, and all other items required to potentially construct a new 3,516 SF addition and 5,158 SF building renovation according to the contract documents. Bids will be received for a combined bid for the full contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening. Each bid must include a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or security company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and made payable to Green Township Board of Trustees. If a bid security in the amount of 10% of the full bid amount is submitted with the bid, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material bond from an acceptable surety in the amount of 100% of the full contract amount in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. If a bid guaranty bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid is submitted with the bid, no additional performance and labor and material bond will be required. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable. The owner also reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The proposal must be made on the forms provided therefore in the contract documents, or a copy thereof, with a price quoted for the work.
