Reference Number 0000280320 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/11/08 06:00:00 PM EST Bid Intent Deadline 2024/10/29 06:00:00 PM EDT VIA requires a supplier to provide HVAC and Refrigeration Repair Services at Winnipeg Maintenance Centre. The scope of work and technical requirements are presented under Part a) The Supplier will perform on-site ad hoc repairs to VIA Equipment for both air-conditioning and refrigeration issues. Reports of defective air-conditioning or refrigeration systems are reported by the inbound crew, once the train arrives in Winnipeg and, if required, repairs services are requested from the Supplier via service calls. b) The Supplier will perform service on split, packaged, self-contained, and under-counter air conditioning units, fridges and freezers on all rolling stock at VIA, including, but not limited to Coach railcars and locomotives (GE and EMD). c) Occasionally, the Supplier will perform repairs outdoors. A Commercial General Liability Insurance, preferably an “occurrence” form, covering the liability of the Supplier and its Representatives for bodily injury, including death, and property damage for a minimum amount of $ 5 000 000 per occurrence. The insurance policy wording shall contain no exclusion related to services or work in proximity of railway tracks or any such exclusion shall be removed by endorsement.
