As of August 27, 2025, general contractor has been identified. Dorchester County is seeking proposals to provide preconstruction and construction services for Pump Station 72 30-Inch Forcemain Installation Project using the Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) method of project delivery. Included in the scope of services is collaboration with the design engineer during the design phase, providing constructability and value engineering guidance, development of a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal(s), and, assuming successful negotiation of a GMP(s), ultimately entering into a construction agreement for the construction of the Project. The deadline for written questions has been extended to Friday, November 8, at 5:00 pm. See below:
