The project consists of the construction of a new aviation fuel farm, located southwest of the existing terminal building and adjacent to the recent concrete apron expansion. The fuel farm will include a 20,000-gallon Jet-A fuel tank and pumping system, a 20,000-gallon Avgas fuel tank and pumping system, and a self-service fuel management system for customers. The design will be based on pre-packaged fuel tank systems with double-walled tanks and packaged fuel pumping systems. The project will also include the removal of the existing fuel farm to be transported to the Saint George Airport. Additional work items include the following: erosion control, permitting, concrete paving, grading and drainage, and electrical.
