the Public Water Improvements - Banner Road Water Main Arpa Project # 2024-arpa-8. Funding is Through the American Rescue Plan Act (Arpa) Grant Program (Project #2024-arpa-8). As Such, Compliance With Labor Standards Contract Provisions is Mandatory. Compliance With the Davis Bacon Act is Mandatory if the Total Project Cost Exceeds $10,000 (Ten Thousand Dollars). All Bids Received at Said Time Will Be Opened and Evaluated for Completeness and Correctness. A Cashier's Check, a Certified Check or a Surety Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Accompany the Sealed Proposal of Each Bidder as a Guarantee of His Ability to Perform the Contract Bid Upon, and That He Will Enter Into a Written Contract With the Owner to Perform Said Work and/or Furnish Said Materials in Accordance With Said Plans and Specifications and Furnish the Required Bonds With Ten (10) Days After the Acceptance of His Bid. Each Bid Submitted is a Legal Offer and When Accepted by the Owner, Constitutes a Firm and Binding Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. The Municipality/district Reserves the Unconditional Right to Cancel All or Any Portion of This Project Within Thirty (30) Days From the Date of the Opening of the Bids, for Any Reason and at Its Sole Discretion.
