Qualified vendor pool to provide Snow and Ice removal services on the Morrow County Road system. two year Winter season ending June 30, 2026 Scope of Work and Equipment A. Contractor shall provide heavy-duty trucking and Equipment services for snow and ice removal. B. Contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, fuel, transportation, equipment and labor to maintain contracted equipment. C. per day, seven (7) days a week and fully operational with all the required equipment in good working order. D. Contractor must understand Maintenance and safety procedures. E. Assist the County with planning and execution of snow and ice removal getting the appropriate permits and following all rules and regulations. F. Prepare preliminary project costs prior to project. G. Meet with the County and representatives of local, state, and federal agencies as necessary. Statement of Work. This contract is for snow and ice removal services. The statement of work (the "Work") including the delivery schedule for the Work will be agreed upon on a project by project basis. Contractor agrees to adhere to all State and Federal rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to any particular project, including, but not limited to, BOLI. Contractor further agrees to perform the Work in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Contract. A bid bond is not required for submission of a bid. A performance bond is not required for this contract. Right to Reject Offers Morrow County may reject any offer not in compliance with all prescribed public procurement procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all offers upon a finding by the County that it is in the public interest to do so. Contract Award A. Quotes will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the Public Works Director. B. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible pool of vendors. Based on an average per hour cost of; Snow Plow, grader, pickup plow. C. A decision to award the contract will be made within fourteen days of the bid opening or according to the timelines available by the Board of Commissioners.
