City Hall Roof Top Integral Heating/Cooling Unit Replacement All bids must be accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, certified bank letter of credit, or certified check made payable to the city for at least five percent of the bid amount. Any Prime Contractor, or Subcontractor must meet the minimum criteria established for a responsible contractor as defined in Minn. Stat. &16C.285, subd. The City Council reserves the right to reject all bids. The City of Sauk Centre City Hall has a rooftop heating/cooling (RTU) unit that is in need of replacement. The contractor for the project shall furnish all necessary parts, materials and labor to remove the existing roof top unit and install the new unit. The intent is to replace the rubber roof at the same time as the RTU. This will need to be accounted for and coordinated with the roofing contractor if that project is approved. Any contractor providing a bid on this project is required to do an on site survey prior to placing a bid for this replacement. A description of all parts & labor warranties to be included with the sealed bids. Remove and dispose of the existing roof top unit. Install new 50-Ton (Minimum) horizontal rooftop unit with electric heat. Attach documentation on make/model of RTU proposed. Any required roof curb adapters to attach to existing roof/curbs Attach supply and return duct to existing ductwork Crane or other machinery required to complete all necessary work Controls to connect the new RTU to the existing control system in the building.
