Renovation of a library in Wamego, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Removal and reinstallation of windows at the Wamego Public Library located at 431 Lincoln Avenue. The work is generally described as follows: 1. Remove 5 existing windows in the old portion (north side) of the library and install 5 new Manko 2450 windows in dark bronze. 2. Remove 4 existing windows in the old portion (east side) of the library and install 4 new Manko 2450 windows in dark bronze. 3. Remove and replace the glass entry (door and windows) on the east side of the building, including an ADA compliant door to match the windows listed above. To inspect the project area, contact the Wamego City Office at 430 Lincoln Ave. or call the City Office: (785) 456-9119. The City of Wamego reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted for any or no reason. Proposals shall include a lump sum price quote for the project (note that sales tax is not applicable), as well as a cost per line, work methods, materials specifications, and days to completion from notice to proceed. The successful contractor must submit proof of at least $1 million contractor's liability insurance coverage prior to the notice to proceed, however bonding is not required.
