Site work for a water / sewer project in Batesville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project scope includes: The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials and performing all work necessary for the complete construction of the sewer lift station specified in the construction documents. Contract time is 180 consecutive calendar days. Liquidated damages in the amount of$250.00 will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors establishing classification as to the value and type of construction work on which he is authorized to bid. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to makeinquiries regarding potentialbidding; subcontracting opportunities; and equipment, material and/or supply needs. Any contract or contractsawarded under this invitation forbids are expected to be fundedin part by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) andby The City of Batesville, Mississippi. The bidder shall guarantee tohold his bid good and may notwithdraw his bid for a periodof 60 calendar days after thescheduled closing time for receiving bids. The award, if made, will bemade to the party submittingthe lowest and best responsive,responsible bid deemed mostfavorable to the Owner. The Cityof Batesville reserves the rightto reject any and all bids and towaive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
