Renovation of a municipal facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The existing Zootique heat pump is not repairable and requires replacement to heat and cool the Zootique, requiring the Contractor to perform the following: - Removal of the existing heat pump from the building and Zoo site. - Extending the concrete pad to suit the new heat pump. - Bringing the new heat pump to second floor mechanical room. - Installation of the new heat pump as per the manufacturer's instructions. - All condensate drain piping to be PVC pipe. - Thermostat to be replaced with digital (non-programmable). - The filters need to be 4 inches thick and have a MERV 13 minimum rating. - All electrical work requires an ESA permit as well as inspection. - Commissioning for approval by HTS Engineering Ltd.
