The Town of Seabrook Board of Selectmen are seeking proposals from qualified vendors to make repairs to two the Beach walkways located on Hudson Street and Lawrence Street. All questions shall be submitted in writing to only the Chief Procurement Officer at the above address by October 31th, 2024, at 2:00 pm EST. The Town of Seabrook is seeking proposals that address the following requirements: 1. The boardwalk shall be stable. 2. The boardwalk shall be level side to side. 3. The boardwalk shall be made up of only weather resistant materials rated for outdoor use at the beach. 4. The boardwalk shall be 530 feet long each. 5. The boardwalk shall be 4 feet wide. 6. The top boards of the boardwalk shall be Trex or equivalent 7. The top boards of the boardwalk shall be fastened with stainless screws to 3 6x6 PT lumber laid equally spaced and along the length of the walkway on the sand or on top of the existing boardwalks. 8. The boardwalk shall be built in removable sections connected to one another end to end with removable connectors. 9. No machines shall be driven on the dunes. Driving machines on the existing boardwalk is permitted. 10. Non-native plants encroaching on the existing walkways shall be cut back to allow 1 foot clearance on either side of the boardwalk. Dune grass shall not be cut, trampled or disturbed Work on this project shall commence as soon as the Town signs a contract and shall be completed in its entirety by December 31, 2024. The Town of Seabrook will make every effort to move the project along quickly.
