The City of Tega Cay is accepting sealed bids from qualified Offerors for the resurfacing of existing pickleball courts and conversion of tennis to pickleball courts. All questions pertaining to this request for bid must be submitted in writing by emailing doverton@tegacaysc.gov no later than 5:00 PM (EST) on November 15, 2024. Only written questions will be considered formal. Performance of the work contracted in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. o Procure necessary materials, equipment, labor, etc to resurface six (6) existing pickleball courts and convert two (2) existing tennis courts into six (6) pickleball courts. o Prep courts by cleaning surface area, removing foreign matter, and check for depressions greater than 1/8" o Patch existing cracks and surface depressions with acrylic filler or similar material and ensure leveled surface o Bid Alternate: Additional crack repair or preventative items o Convert existing two (2) tennis courts into six (6) pickleball courts and install pickleball net sleeves, posts, and nets o Resurface entire facility with one (1) coat of acrylic resurfacer o Re-paint court and court areas with two (2) color coats which match existing colors o Paint pickleball court lines in white o Install posts and pickleball nets o Install/re-install divider fence in the middle of pickleball courts o Remove fencing for access to courts during the project and reinstall fencing after project completion. o Remove unused material, debris, etc. from site at end of project The City of Tega Cay reserves the right without prejudice to reject, in whole or in part, any and all bids received, to waive all technicalities, or to negotiate any term(s) or provision(s) of such bids. Such rejection, waiver, or negotiation shall be accomplished in any manner necessary to serve the best interest of the City. It also reserves the right to be the sole judge of the suitability of any and all bids for use by the City.
