A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Lincoln, hereinafter called Owner is requesting proposals from qualified firms for Water Supply Development for Lincoln Water System - Phase 2 (Project). The second phase of this Project will include engineering design services to allow LWS to begin wellfield and treatment plant site development including access, site grading, utilities planning, and acquisition of easements for the source water and finished water supply transmission mains. The Project will also evaluate feasibility of providing regional water supplies and establishing regional partners near, and along, the Platte River water supply and proposed Missouri River water supply corridors. Other professional services as part of the Project include cost estimating, cost of service and rate planning, and assistance in seeking state and federal grant and loan funds. For grant eligible expenses, work shall be completed no later than October 1, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, wholly or in part, and to award to multiple Proposers in whole or in part. The Owner reserves the right to waive any deviations or errors that are not material, do not invalidate the legitimacy of the proposal, and do not improve the Proposer's competitive position.
