Question Deadline 11/01/2024 Questions received less than five calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. The work shall consist of the construction of an earthen embankment flood control structure in Lancaster County, Nebraska. Specifically, the dam will consist of 19,372 CY of common excavation, 37,255 C.Y. of fill (borrow), 174 L.F. of 24" concrete pressure pipe and other miscellaneous items. Specifically, the dam will consist of 19,372 CY of common excavation, 37.255 C.Y. of fill (borrow), 174 L.F. of 24" concrete pressure pipe and other miscellaneous items. Each Bid shall be accompanied, in a separate sealed envelope, by a certified check of bid bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid amount made payable to the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build the improvements and furnish bonds in accordance herewith. The Lower Platte South Natural Resources reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities.
