MEMORIAL BUTTERFLY GARDEN IMPROVEMENTS This contract consists of a base bid. The base bid involves the furnishing all materials, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision required to construct the Memorial Butterfly Garden Improvements which includes installation of landscaping improvements, 12' gated entrance fence on metal support frame, 6' high fencing sufficient to surround the garden, and the construction of new walkways within the garden. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and a Performance Bond for the work in such form as meets the approval of Upper Makefield Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by Upper Makefield Township. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry if the contract price exceeds $25,000.00. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after receipt, or for such longer period of time as agreed to by the Contractor in writing upon request of Owner. Upper Makefield Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid, which it deems, in its sole judgment, to be in the best interest of the Township.
