Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are to be received consists of: The project consists of the installation of an 8-Inch force main along Oak Grove Road. The new force main will be connected to the existing 6-Inch force main at the existing Burkhardt Lift Station, which is located on the Lowe's Home Improvement's south parking lot entryway immediately east of Hirschland Road, along Oak Grove Road. The new force main will also be connected to the existing 12-Inch force main immediately southwest of the intersection of Oak Grove Road and Fairfield Drive. The force main along Oak Grove Road from the Lowe's parking lot entry way to immediately west of the intersection of Oak Grove Road and Burkhardt Road has been installed as part of a previous project, as indicated in the drawings. The project consists of approximately 400 LF of open cut and 880 LF of directionally drilled 8-Inch force main, gate valves, air valves with concrete structure, existing force main abandonment, bypass pumping coordination, and pavement restoration. ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE: $611,000 Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, milling, flushing, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
