This specification establishes minimum requirements for elevator maintenance services for three elevators located within the City of Middletown municipal building. These services are to include routine, preventative and emergency maintenance, and related replacement supplies and equipment for all three elevators. The services are for three Montgomery-Kone hydraulic elevators - two 5 stop and one 2 stop. Both 5 stop elevators have been modernized with ThyssenKrupp microprocessor-based controllers. The 2 stop elevator is located in the City jail (used for prisoner transport) and has not been updated. The contract period will be for a period of 36 months, beginning 1/1/25 and ending 12/31/27, unless extended by mutual agreement. The right to reject any and all proposals is reserved by the City of Middletown. Informalities may be waived at the option of the City Council.
