Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Edmonds, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Frances Anderson Center serves as the City's main recreation center offering arts, athletic and cultural programing year round. Due to the age and high usage of the building there are many building systems that are in need of replacement or restoration. Projects: Replacement of Heating Boilers with Electric alternatives that will add ventilation, cooling and heating Investment grade audit approved by City Council, Replacement of all exterior doors scheduled for 2024/25, ADA accessible door closures, Plumbing drainage collector, Restroom remodels (w/ gender neutral consideration), Replacement of all plumbing fixtures, Addition of building security card readers, Building HVAC controls to maximize efficiency, Fire Sprinkler replacement, and clean building act compliance efforts will be addresses by IGA.) As of January 10, 2025, this project is included in the city's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm or timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
