Interior Renovations Question Deadline 10/29/2024 at 1:00 PM ET THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING RENOVATIONS: A. Renovations to existing designated instructional spaces and main corridors to include prepping and repairing walls where required, repair of vinyl wall base where required, removal and replacement of existing suspended acoustical ceiling tile and grid, replacement of existing ceiling lighting fixtures with new LED lighting fixtures and removal and replacement of existing ceramic tile or VCT tile partial floor finish areas within instructional spaces with new ceramic tile floor finish and repair of existing VCT floor tile finish where required. Included are labor, demolition, debris removal, and other scope of work as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bid Alternate One includes the prepping and repairing of walls where required, removal and replacement of existing suspended acoustical ceiling tile and grid and replacement of existing ceiling lighting fixtures with new LED lighting fixtures for the main corridors and select associated support spaces only where designated in the Contract Documents. Bid Alternate Two includes the removal of existing laminate clad base cabinets and sinks and faucets and replacement with new laminate clad base cabinets, sinks and faucets as defined in Contract Documents for Building 2050 only. Work scope includes repair of existing VCT floor finish as may be required and touch-up paint of adjacent wall surfaces where required and installation of new vinyl wall base to accommodate new cabinets. Bid Alternate Three includes the installation of new laminate clad wall cabinets as defined in the Contract Documents for Building 2050 only. Work scope includes touch-up painting of adjacent wall surfaces as required. Bid Alternate Four includes the removal of interior wood access doors and replacement with like kind new wood access doors into existing hollow metal frames, prep and painting of existing hollow metal door frames and include select new door hardware to replace existing door hardware for base bid work scope Instructional Units. Existing access door locksets to be salvaged from existing wood access doors and installed in new wood access doors to alleviate rekeying of access door hardware.
