File No. 81675-125 -23 The bids must be submitted on the annexed Form of Proposal and must be accompanied by certified good faith check or a corporate bid bond (no cash, bank or cashier's check will be acceptable) in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Darby Township, which check of proceeds thereof will be retained by the Township as Liquidated Damages if the successful bidder shall fail to execute a contract and bond as set forth in the annexed Proposal, Specifications and General Conditions. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a oneyear maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Darby Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and the right to waive any technicalities which they deem are in the best interest of the Township.
