Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fall River, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Director of City Operations on behalf of the City of Fall River invites sealed bids from DCAMM Certified Bidders for the Resiliency Preparatory School Window and Door Replacement project, in accordance with the documents prepared by SLAM Collaborative from Boston, Massachusetts. The project consists of removal and replacement of existing exterior windows and doors with new insulated windows and doors at all existing exterior openings at the Resiliency Preparatory School, 290 Street, Fall River, MA 02720. The total construction work is estimated to cost $6,500,000. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149 26 to 27H inclusive. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in Windows and Doors. Filed Sib-Bidders must be DCAMM certified in their respective trades. All Bids must include a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Update Statement. General and File Sub-Bids Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to the City of Fall River, MA. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID; NO HARD COPY BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The City of Fall River reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Proposals received or to reject all Proposals or to accept any Proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Fall River. This project may be funded in part by a federal award. Debarment status is required. The Director of City Operations intends to award a contract to the lowest priced, responsive and responsible bidder within (30) thirty days after the bid opening.
