PROJECT DESCRIPTION Question Deadline 10/31/2024 at 8:00 AM PT Inquiries regarding the Request for Proposal RFP shall be submitted electronically. The work includes the replacement of eight Computer Room AC (CRAC) units. Units 1-1 through 1-4 and 2-1 through 2-4 shall be replaced in kind. This project also includes the replacement of chiller #2. This project will also include all incidental related work. Work Requirements: a. Demolition: Provide demolition of existing equipment as specified below: 1. CRAC Units i. Disconnect Chilled Water (CHW), Heated Hot Water (HHW), Domestic Cold Water (DCW), and Condensate Drain (CD) lines at unit underneath elevated floor. Disconnect existing 460 volt source from the existing CRAC units. Once all disconnections have been completed, remove the existing units. 2. Chiller #2 i. Disconnect Condenser Water Supply (CWS), Condenser Water Return (CWR), Chilled Water Supply (CHWS0, and Chilled Water Return (CHWR) lines from the existing chiller at the unit. Disconnect and remove the existing chiller pump and control valves. Once all disconnections have been completed, remove the existing unit. b. Construction: 1. CRAC Units i. Install new CRAC units per schedule and specification requirements. Reconnect all water lines and electrical. 2. Chiller #2 i. Install new Chiller, chiller pump, and control valves per schedule and specification requirements. Reconnect all water lines and electrical. Re-establish all connections to existing Delta building management control system. 3. System testing and Verification i. Perform system testing and verification as required per specifications and manufacturer installation requirements. Provide training and demonstrations on operation and maintenance activities for the newly installed equipment. This is a Bid Build project all plans and specifications have been fully developed.
