This project generally includes, but is not limited to, the following items at the Peach Street WWTP in Grapevine, Texas: $6,000,000 - $7,500,000 Demolition of existing Train 1 Traveling Bridge Filters. Installation of new Train 1 Disc Cloth Filters. Installation of new Train 1 concrete driveway. Installation of new Train 1 Aeration Basin weir. Demolition of existing Train 1 motor control center. Installation of new electrical distribution and controls to support new Disc Cloth Filters. Connection of new Disc Cloth Filters Control Panel to Plant Control System. Installation of new instrumentation and controls to support new Disc Cloth Filters. Installation of new Train 2 concrete driveway. Demolition of existing Train 2 Aeration Basin diffusers. Installation of new Train 2 Aeration Basin diffusers. Installation of new Train 2 Aeration Basin effluent weirs. Installation of new Train 2 aeration header. Miscellaneous Train 2 modifications. Demolition of existing Train 2 wire, conduit, PLC cabinet, motor local disconnect switches, and instruments along with other electrical and instrumentation infrastructure. Demolition of Return Sludge Pump Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) units. Installation of new Return Sludge Pump VFDs. Installation of new Blower Local Disconnect Switch. Installation of other motor local disconnect switches. Installation of wire/conduit for both electrical distribution and controls as well as instrumentation and controls for two clarifiers. Installation of new electrical distribution and controls as well as instrumentation and controls to support the new Train 2 Aeration System. Installation of new Train 3 aeration header. Installation of new Train 3 Aeration Basin effluent weirs. Miscellaneous Train 3 modifications. Demolition of existing Train 3 wire, conduit, instruments along with other electrical and instrumentation infrastructure. Installation of new electrical distribution and controls as well as instrumentation and controls to support the new Train 3 Aeration System. Modifications to existing effluent flow structures. Installation of new Service Water Pump Station. Installation of new service water distribution system. Installation of new electrical distribution and controls as well as instrumentation and controls to support the new Service Water System. Incorporation of new equipment and any automated flow meters, mass meters, valves, and controls into the existing SCADA system. All other work shown or required by the Contract Documents to provide a complete and working system. The deadline to ask questions is 11/21/2024 6:00 PM CST To be accepted, a bid must be accompanied by a bid security instrument payable to the City of Grapevine, Texas, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total base bid, in the form of either (a) a cashier's check or certified check on a Texas bank or thrift with FDIC insurance or (b) an acceptable bidder's bond with a surety authorized to operate in the State of Texas. Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds will be required. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating bid prices, the City of Grapevine reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, to reject any or all bids, and to waive formalities. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the date on which bids are opened. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
