The Township of Greenwich is seeking pricing of snow removal for the 2025 winter and spring season. Before any work/snow removal is begun, you will be contacted by a member of the Township Committee for authorization. Conversely, you may contact a member of the Committee to review the situation. Approval by a Township Official must be obtained prior to any secondary work or incurring any additional cost. If you decide to bid on the following package you must present a Certificate of Insurance and a list of equipment that is available for your use prior to any work being done. 1. Wible Drive - from Davis Mill Road to dead end 2. Park Drive - from Ye Greate Street straight to the dead end, does not include behind church 3. Delaware Avenue - from Pier Road to the dead end 4. Tindall Island Road - from Bacon's Neck Road to Hancock Harbor Road 5. Ragged Island Road - Tindall Island Road - past first driveway on left 6. Bayside Road - from Tindall Island Road - to driveway in area of Wetherill Road 7. Wetherill Road - to Goodwin Driveway (John Long's) 8. Wurtzel Lane - from Wetherill Road to dead end 9. White Clay Road - from Stathem's Neck Road to Wheaton Island Road 10. Teaburner Road - from Springtown Road to Sheppard's Mill Road 11. Hancock Harbor Road - from Tindall Island Road to end of new pavement 12. Morris Goodwin School - The parking lot, walkways, around the mailbox and access to the dumpsters must be kept clear of snow and ice and salted prior to the opening of the school and when school is in session. If the school is closed due to inclement weather or for the weekend, the work does not have to be completed until before the school is opened. It should be noted there may be hand shoveling or use of small equipment to adequately clear the walkways. 13. Greenwich Fire Department - The GFD needs to be cleared so that emergency equipment is always able to leave the premises. When removing snow from the GFD, it is important that access to the trailer on the side of the building and all doors (including shed doors in the rear of the main building) not be obstructed. At the driveway exits, it is important to ensure that snow is cleared in such a way they remain clear when Ye Greate Street is plowed by the County trucks. 14. Greenwich Township Building - The building should only be cleared at the end of the snow event unless a State of Emergency is declared and the Emergency Operations Center must be open.
