The Bedford VA Medical Center located at 200 Springs Road in Bedford, MA has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract to replace the elevators at Bedford VAMC. The six elevators were inspected by enDevelopment LLC for deficiencies and the report is included in the contract briefcase. SCOPE: The scope of this project consists of completely preparing site for building operations including replacement of elevator components and machinery to bring elevators up to modern code compliance. The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials and perform work for one traction passenger elevator each in Buildings 6, 7, and 62 for a total of three (3) traction elevators, hydraulic elevator each in Buildings 9, 10, and 62 for a total of three (3) hydraulic elevators at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford MA. The period of performance (type A and B services) is 595 calendar days, beginning with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the Contracting Officer.
