The Project includes the following Work: Install approxmately 3,100 lineal feet of 10" & 12" sanitary sewer, line approximately 10,700 lineal feet of existing 10" & 12" sanitary sewer, construct 13 manholes, line approximately 366 vertical feet of existing manholes. Question Deadline 12/03/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC, 114 W. Washington Avenue, Effingham, IL 62401 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Witt, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of - the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that 1) not less than the Federal prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; 2) The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3, 24 CFR Part 75; and 3) The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against be cause of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin Specifically, the Contractor shall complete and return the Intent to Comply with Section 3 Requirements with their submitted Bid. Bids may be held by the City of Witt for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract The City of Witt reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding
