The project consists of the roof replacement at the Alamance County Detention Center located at 109 South Maple Street, Graham, NC of approximately 21,632 Square Fee The County will select a single firm/professional engineer who will meet with County Staff to review goals and objectives for this project. The firm will generate designs (based on proposed schematic layout), prepare drawings, specifications, plans and any required documents for bidding out this project. The firm will assist in the bidding process as required and provide administration services, inspections, and project monitoring services. Respondent must be fully licensed and certified for the type of work to be performed in the State of North Carolina. All questions are to be submitted in writing before 5:00 PM, (EDT) on October 18th, 2024. A fair and reasonable fee will be negotiated with the selectee after selection. If an acceptable price can't be negotiated, the County reserves the right to go to the next best qualified firm and begin negotiations. The County encourages participation by Minority and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms and qualifying respondents should be prepared to provide evidence of such classification within the qualification's package.
