North Apollo Acheson Avenue ADA Ramp Construction Project Contract. The proposed scope for the North Apollo Acheson Avenue ADA Ramp construction Project will consist of the installation of 10 ADA curb ramps along Acheson Avenue including restoration, traffic control and all necessary appurtenances for said construction. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those plan holders whose name and address are on record at Senate Civil Engineers and Surveyors as having obtained the Bidding Documents. Only bids from contractors that have purchased approved project bid materials from Senate Civil Engineers and Surveyors will be considered. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope along with the original bid security and all other required documentation, all as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Each proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of the County of Armstrong OBO North Apollo Borough. No faxed Bids will be accepted. The County of Armstrong OBO North Apollo Borough reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept or reject any and all bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening bids. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply to this contract. BABA (Build America Buy America) will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE AND WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the Bid.
