2024 Roadway Improvements Base Bid: consists of road reconstruction including concrete curbs along with new eight (8") water main installation and the installation of storm improvements such as catch basins and storm drains. The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed under the contract. The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work. Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished and shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Village of Clyde is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Village of Clyde reserves the right to consider bids for forty-five (45) days after the receipt before awarding any contract. The Village of Clyde further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its best interests.
