The successful bidder(s) must self-perform at a minimum 50% of the contracted work. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and labor and material bonds in accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Village of Clyde further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its best interests. No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Architect/Engineer. To be given consideration, all inquiries must be received by the Architect/Engineer five (5) or more days prior to the date set for the receipt of Bids. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an Addendum to the Contract Documents and when issued, will be on file at the offices of the Owner and the Architect/Engineer at least twenty-four (24) hours before proposals are opened. In addition, all Addenda will be electronically mailed to each person holding Contract Documents, but it shall be the Bidder's responsibility to make inquiry as to the Contract Documents and all Bidders shall be bound by such Addenda, whether or not received by the Bidders.
