The State of Connecticut Department of Labor and all associated statutes and regulations shall govern labor wages on this project. The successful bidder shall comply with applicable state and local laws and the ACES Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School requirements. The requirements for prevailing wage rates as outlined in the Connecticut General Statues 31-53 are to apply to the resultant contract award. 10. The successful bidder shall participate and comply with all applicable affirmative action, equal employment, non-discrimination established by the State of CT on this project. 11. This project is governed by The State of Connecticut Commission of Human Rights and Opportunities ("CHRO") requirements. 12. All bids shall be held open by bidders for a period of ninety (90) days. No bidder may withdraw their bid during that period. 13. After review of all factors, terms and conditions, including price, Downes Construction Company, LLC and the ACES Wintergreen Interdistrict Magnet School reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, or waive defects in same, or accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the project. 14.
