Renovation of a detention facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Scope: The project shall include the replacement of the heat recovery unit, including work relating to the reverse return piping and valves, associated duct work, concrete support for equipment, testing and balancing of the hot water system, chemical treatment, and electrical connections located in the mechanical room of the Waukesha County Jail. It is the responsibility of prospective bidders to check this website for any future amendments, questions, revisions, etc., prior to the opening date. All addenda must be acknowledged on the bid signature page in the area provided. Failure to do so may result in your response being rejected. Due to the confidential nature of the documents, detailed plans/drawings are not posted with the bid solicitation. Vendors who wish to receive a copy of the detailed plans/drawings are to contact The Department of Public Works at 262-548-7740. The documents are to be used by the Vendor only for bidding purposes. Once the bid has been awarded, with the exception of the awarded vendor, all other vendors are to destroy the document. Vendors are also reminded to review all Bid Documents, drawings, etc. prior to arrival.
