Site work for a civil project in Kendrick, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
We are seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for a water well, well house, and pipeline construction and installation project designed to improve access to clean and reliable water. The project involves a comprehensive scope of work, including site assessment to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed location, borehole drilling to a depth sufficient for water extraction, and the installation of a well casing, pump system, wellhouse, and pipelines as needed. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for testing and commissioning the well to ensure it meets all quality and safety standards. Successful bidders should have proven experience in well construction and water system installations, a strong ability to adhere to project timelines and budget constraints, and a commitment to complying with all local regulations and standards. Questions concerning the bid documents, plans, or specifications should be directed to the City Clerks Office (918) 862-3202, at 101 W Main St, Oilton, OK 74052. Each Bidder shall accompany his original bid with a certified or Cashier's Check on a solvent bank located in Oklahoma or a Bidder's Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of bid, and the same will be retained by the County on behalf of the City until the successful bidder has entered into a written contract with the Owner and a satisfactory payment, performance and warranty bond has been furnished. The bid deposit of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon the execution of the Contract and required bonds. Construction, Maintenance, and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price with a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract, and the bidder shall state in the proposal the name and address of the Surety or Sureties who will issue this bond in case the contract is awarded to him. The Maintenance Bond required will guarantee the repair of all damage due to improper materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year after the acceptance of the work by the Owner. The County procurement process is an open process that allows all business owners to participate regardless of race, color, natural origin or sex and we encourage minority and women-owned business to bid on any of our projects. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding. The County and City reserve the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional Bids shall not be accepted. Bids shall remain valid for 60 days from bid opening.
