Replacement of Five (5) Turnpike Structures, Milepost 4.89 to 11.50 And Design Services for Contract No. T100.834 Replacement of Five (5) Turnpike Structures, Milepost 17.89 to 24.03 The Program has been developed to evaluate the New Jersey Turnpike from Milepost 0.0 to Milepost 36.5. The Program corridor runs through four (4) counties which includes 18 municipalities: Carney's Point, Oldmans, Pennsville, Pilesgrove, Deptford, East Greenwich, West Deptford, Woodbury Heights, Woolwich, Harrison, Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Runnemede, Lawnside, Tavistock, Barrington, Bellmawr, and Mt. Laurel. The Program will address the integrity of the roadway and structures, the need to improve regional mobility, as well as the need to improve safety. The preliminary engineering design and initial environmental services for the Program are complete. The Authority has engaged a Program Manager (PM Team) for the Program. The work to be performed by the Firms under these two OPS' consists of professional engineering final design services for the full replacement of five (5) overpassing structures along the Program corridor under each OPS. OPS No. T4200 will provide final design services for the full replacement of Structure Nos. 4.89, 5.73, 9.14, 11.38, and 11.50. OPS No. T4201 will provide final design services for the full replacement of Structure Nos. 17.98, 20.47, 22.81, 23.12, and 24.03. As part of the New Jersey Turnpike Interchanges 1 to 4 Capacity Enhancements Program ("Program"), OPS No. T4200 and OPS No. T4201 will each provide for the full replacement of five (5) overpass structures, which will support the addition of a future third NS (southbound) and SN (northbound) lane on the Turnpike Mainline between Milepost 0.0 and Milepost 36.5 and other related work defined in the RFEOIs Scope of Services (see Attachment A). This multi-project solicitation is being procured in accordance with N.J.A.C. 19:9-2.8(b), these Order for Professional Services ("OPS") are considered Complex procurements. Question Deadline 10/29/2024 at 10:00 AM ET Inquiries pertaining to this RFEOI are to be directed in writing to Prayag Sayani, via e-mail sayani@njta.com with a copy to Dawn Margolis at margolis@njta.com. The subject line should read "OPS Nos. T4200 and T4201, EOI Inquiry". Each inquiry will be stated, and a written response provided. Responses will be posted on the Authority's website under Doing Business, Current Solicitations on or before Thursday, October 31, 2024. The Authority is seeking participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) as subconsultants to the Successful Qualified Firm ("Firm") that is awarded a contract under this RFEOI. The SBE project goal is 25%. The Authority has also adopted a Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVOB) Enterprise Program (the "DVOB Program") pursuant to which the Successful Qualified Firms must make a good faith effort to award at least three (3) percent of the assignment to DVOBs, all as more fully described in this RFEOI. See Attachment C(C12), "Small Business Enterprise/Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Programs". The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
