As of 1/13/25, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. which involves the redevelopment of the Statewide Traffic Management Center (STMC) Site, including: the demolition of the former Highway Authority Administration Building, demolition of the Motor Pool Building (including multiple in-ground vehicle lifts), and construction of the Traffic Management Center Building Annex. Work also includes utility upgrades/retrofits (including construction of a new pad-mounted gas meter and water service freeze enclosure), penthouse equipment relocation to the new Annex Building and roofing upgrades at the existing STMC building to remain. A new fire pump is to be installed to replace the existing fire pump at the STMC building which will also service the new annex. Site improvements include reconstruction/reconfiguration of the existing parking lots with new lighting, expanded CCTV and electrical infrastructure for future EV charging stations. Site work also includes construction of a site retaining wall and drainage upgrades. The project requires multiple stages of construction to ensure the 24/7 services at the existing STMC remain operational at all times. The pre-bid site visit will be the only opportunity for the prospective Bidders to visit the site. During the pre-bid site visit a tour of the site will be conducted. No other site visits will be scheduled. Arrangements for the prospective Bidders to gain access to the site for the pre-bid site visit will be provided via e-mail to the prospective Bidders that register, as indicated above.
