Proposals are invited for Contract No. A500.847-1, which involves immediate repairs and scheduled improvements to mechanical systems, and all other related work including, but not limited to, HVAC units, boilers, piping & valving, pumps, ductwork , system flushing & cleaning including glycol, and air balancing at all Authority owned facilities between Mile 0 and Mile 122 along the New Jersey Turnpike and Mile 0 to Mile 172 along the Garden State Parkway inclusive in Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Mercer, Middlesex, Union, Hudson, Essex, Bergen, Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean, Monmouth and Passaic Counties, New Jersey. The work will be as directed by the Engineer by work orders with approximate quantities for a period of two (2) years from the date of Notice of Award and shall terminate on the date two years after the date of the Notice of Award. The Engineer will have two, one-year options to extend the contract. Bidders must be prequalified under Contract Classification New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, Classification C039, HVAC, and Rating of $5,000,000 Minimum prior to the receipt of Proposals. For Proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Trade Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be $10,000,000 by the joint venture.
