Milepost 0 to 83; Section 10 (2025) Proposals are invited for Contract No. T200.679 which involves pavement removal and resurfacing with Warm Mix Asphalt Surface Course Pavement along the Turnpike mainline roadways, ramps, shoulders and other incidental work from Milepost 0 to 83 in Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Mercer and Middlesex Counties, New Jersey The principal items of work include: Warm Mix Asphalt 12.5M76 73,000 Tons Pavement Removal, Fine, 2 1/2 " Depth 496,000 S.Y. Bidders must be prequalified under Contract Classification 3 - Resurfacing, with a Rating of Unlimited prior to the receipt of bids. For proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $10 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. Prequalification or renewal of prequalification must be received by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's (the "Authority") Engineering Department no later than November 22, 2024 Prequalification documents may be obtained at the Contracts and Specifications Office or will be mailed to prospective Bidders upon request. The Contractor agrees to make a good faith effort to award at least 3% of this Contract to Subcontractors registered by the Division as a DVOB firm. Subcontracting goals do not apply if the prime Contractor is a registered DVOB firm. The deadline for request for questions, interpretations or corrections is five business days prior to the deadline to submit proposals as set forth above. The instructions contained in this letter shall govern your inspection of all work sites where work will be performed under the above contract. For access to and movement over those portions of the prospective job site within the Authority's right-of way, the prospective bidders shall adhere to and be governed by the "Regulations Relating to the Control of Traffic on the New Jersey Turnpike." Access to those portions of the sites outside the right-of-way fence and available from local roads will not be restricted.
