Proposals are invited for Contract No. A900.858, which involves furnishing the required labor, equipment, and materials, on an as needed basis necessary to maintain, clean and repair manufactured treatment devices. A900.858 is between Mile 0 and Mile 122 including the Pearl Harbor Memorial Extension and the Newark Bay-Hudson County Extension along the New Jersey Turnpike, and Mile 0 to 172.4 along the Garden State Parkway inclusive in Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Mercer, Middlesex, Union, Hudson, Essex Bergen, Cape May, Atlantic, Ocean, Monmouth and Passaic Counties, New Jersey. The work will be as directed by the Engineer for a period of one (1) year from the date of Notice of Award and shall terminate on the date one (1) year after the date of the Notice of Award. The Engineer will have two, one-year options to extend the contract. The principal items of work include: Cleaning Manufactured Treatment Devices 180 Each Installation, Maintenance, and Removal of Lane Closing 20 Each Installation, Maintenance, and Removal of Shoulder Closing 125 Each Bidders must be prequalified under Contract Classification 1 Grading and Drainage or Classification 19 Cleaning Manufactured Treatment Devices, Storm Drainage Pipe and Drainage Structures, Rating up to $2,000,000 Maximum prior to the receipt of Proposals. For Proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $50 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. Prequalification documents may be obtained at the Contracts and Specifications Office or will be mailed to prospective Bidders upon request.
