Site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
As of December 5, 2024, project was awarded to Sullivan Contracting with the base bid $52,000 + Alternate 2 $6,400. A. The Asbestos Abatement Contractor herein referred to as the Contractor, will be responsible for performing all work in strict accordance with the Project Documents and all governing codes, rules, and regulations. Where conflicts occur between the Project Documents and applicable codes, rules, and regulations, the more stringent shall apply. Unless otherwise expressly indicated, the requirements of this specification are solely the Contractor's responsibility. B. This asbestos abatement Project will consist of the removal and disposal of the following asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and trace ACMs under base bid work: 1. 1,300 square feet (SF) tan with streaks 12"x 12" floor tile; 2. 2,650 SF black floor tile mastic; 3. 35 SF black laboratory tabletop; 4. 14 SF black sink mastic; 5. 24 SF Transite mineral board paneling; and 6. 20 SF white interior window frame caulk. C. Asbestos removal locations are based on the Limited Pre-Renovation Hazardous Materials Inspection Report prepared by Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. dated Re-Issued September 2024. These locations are detailed on drawings HM-100 and HM-101. Location OCC, Syracuse, NY 13215 Scope: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform Asbestos Abatement services in Ferrante Hall in areas as indicated on the bid specifications/drawings. Start and Completion: The interior abatement work is projected to happen during the time period of January 2- 22, 2025, the exteior alternate work would most likely happen in May 2025. Award: Award of this agreement will be made to the lowest qualified bidder.
